Good vibes, clean tides!
Our beaches are what make this community special, and it's here's a chance for you to help take care of it. This summer, we’re launching our very first Coastal Ambiance Beach Clean-Up Day, and we’d love for you to join us!
Between storms, ocean currents, and all the daily beach visitors enjoying the sun and sand, trash can pile up where it doesn’t belong. But when we all pitch in, we can clean it up and keep our beaches looking fresh and beautiful.
Every piece of trash you pick up helps protect marine life — especially the sea turtles and nesting shorebirds. Most of our turtle visitors are loggerheads, but we also see occasional leatherbacks and green turtles making their way to shore. We’re also home to snowy plovers, a small and special shorebird that relies on clean beaches to thrive. Keeping the beaches clean is super important for these incredible animals.
We’ll sort and recycle everything properly, so it’s taken care of the right way. Plus, by helping us track what we find, you’re giving scientists valuable info to better protect our coast for the future.

This meal will fuel you up for the clean-up while giving you a real taste of our local flavors and ingredients. Trust me, you’ll want to make a few trips back to the bakery for plenty of reasons, but if you ask me, the snickerdoodle and chicken salad are must-haves on repeat.

We’ll explore some of the coolest spots along the coast, hunting for the most beautiful shells the Gulf has to offer. But this isn’t just a walk on the beach — you’ll learn all about the local shells, their amazing lives beneath the waves, and the history that’s woven into these shores. I’ll share stories, tips, and secret spots that only the locals know about.
